CBRE Adds Korea Investment Bankers

Dallas-headquartered CBRE has added a team of investment bankers from real assets advisor Sera Global, including in South Korea.

The investment banking team of Sera Global is joining CBRE, according to a statement. The team will bring over extensive experience across M&A, capital raising, liquidity solutions and infrastructure advisory.

«The combination of the highly talented Sera team with CBRE is a major step forward in the development of our global investment banking platform,» said Chris Ludeman, CBRE global president of capital markets. «This addition will allow us to better advise our clients around the world in defining their growth strategies and accessing capital to achieve their goals.»

CBRE welcomes Sera team members from various offices throughout the world. Within Asia, this includes professionals based in Seoul. Other locations include New York, London, Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, Frankfurt, Barcelona and Madrid. Sera Global CEO Leo van den Thillart also joins CBRE as global head of investment banking. 

Sera was established by Brookfield Business Partners, a business services and industrials firm, as a real assets advisor. Co-headquartered in New York and London, the firm has over $100 billion in transaction volume to date and raised over $300 billion of capital across real estate, infrastructure and renewable energy.
